and headed to the county court house for a justice of the peace wedding -- to make it legal.
There will be a more traditional wedding/reception this coming summer with a wedding gown and cake, etc.
It was lovely to spend the day recognizing the connection & love that these two have.

Yes, we did it :) It was so nice even though most men in the wedding party were really sick with the flu (incl. the groom).
