I returned from the Middle Fork John Day field work trip and fell straight into deep summer fun of family, weddings, and a couple of Oregon's west-side rivers (skinny-dippen, of course!).

July 30: Spontaneous family reunion/dinner/weekend at my brother Jon's house here in Eugene. We had about 50 people for dinner -- folks traveled from MI, FL, and different parts of Oregon to be here. Good times!

The next week -- weekend was all about our good friend's wedding. The events seemed to last the entire week......................until the ultimate party on Aug 8
